October 2006: Chris returned to Australia as Managing Director of Getprice Pty. Ltd.
Jan – October 2006: Chris undertook a number of consulting projects with European clients on corporate development and strategy, including the London-based mobile commerce specialist Reporo; Europe’s largest Search Engine Marketing agency, The Interactive Marketing Works; and Summit Media, a European full-service digital agency.
July 2002 – Jan 2006: Chris worked in Munich, Germany as Head of Pangora UK, a business owned by European Internet Portal, Lycos Europe.
Jun 1999 – Dec. 2001: Chris was Product Manager for E-payments specialist Earthport Plc, an AIM-listed company based in London. He was involved in establishing the company’s presence in Australia, via a reseller partner and in raising funds from institutions and private investors for the company’s listing on the AIM stock market which, at GBP 25m, was at the time, the largest in history.
Other: Chris received a B. App. Sci. from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. He is a fluent German speaker; a member of the Australian Business in Europe group; a regular speaker at international events (i.e. Search Engine Strategies London) and is regularly engaged by Venture Capitalists and Business Owners for his opinions on strategy, market trends and business opportunities. Chris is also involved with a private consortium of Australian-based investors who invest in a variety of high growth businesses within the digital space.

Getprice allows Australian consumers to research purchases online or via their mobile phones, as well as to compare similar products and make price comparisons between products from over 400 Australian retailers.
Retailers work on a pay-for-performance model with Getprice, paying a cost-per-lead that ranges from 25 cents to $1 for each time a consumers clicks from Getprice to the retailer’s website.
Getprice covers a broad range of categories, including Computing, Electronics, Home & Garden, Sports & Travel, Clothing & Accessories, Gifts & Wine, Books & DVD’s, Kids’ Toys etc.
In October 2006, Getprice Mobile was launched as the first service of its kind in Australia. Via their mobile phone, Australian consumers can now access product and pricing information via their mobile phones using the Getprice mobile site at mobile.getprice.com.au. Optus have placed this service on ‘the Grid’ of their Optus Zoo mobile internet service.
