Introduction to ENYA:
In September 2002, the Department of Family and Community Services sent a delegation of young Australians to the APEC Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Forum in Mexico. Three of the young leaders sent (Daniel Clarke, Ainsley Gilkes & Mark Tomasz) started ENYA upon their return, in order to ‘fill the gap’ that existed in supporting and promoting Australian youth enterprise.
Since its formation, ENYA has successfully delivered four programs with the support of the Australian Government, including a national on-line database of enteprise programs; a business mentoring program; a virtual business incubation; and the creation of a web-based learning point of business resources available free of charge to the public.
In 2006, ENYA's membership base now stands at over 1600 young people and we are committed to delivering quality programs to the youth of Australia. For information on our latest projects click here.
